A Note From The Producer:
Political/Election/Patriotic
music
A couple of months back we produced
a great disc of new music for political coverage (AA164).
Now, with the 2008 elections here in the USA quickly approaching,
I'm sure many of you will be putting together last minute spots,
promotions and show themes for local election coverage. I've
compiled a list of all the themes from Audio Architecture that
work best for these types of productions. Hopefully, it will
make your job a little bit easier. You can download the audio
CD reference list here. If you're using the library on hard
drive, download the hard
drive reference list here.
We are always working to make Audio
Architecture a library that covers all of your production needs.
The feedback and input from our clients is the most important
tool we have in planning and producing new material for the library.
It's kind of like voting in an election. The people who go out
and cast their ballet help determine the outcome. The people
who just talk about it but don't vote have no effect on the outcome.
Their voices basically go unheard. Please contact us anytime
with your comments about Audio Architecture. We are always eager
to listen.
Music for Halloween
I thought I'd throw out a couple
of disc numbers as a quick reminder of where to find some cool
music for Halloween productions. AA156
is dramatic, horror music. AA089
is a variety of musical styles with a definite Halloween vibe.
If you're using AA on hard drive look in the "Dramatic_Moods\Horror"
folder and the "Holiday_Occasions\Other_Holidays" folder.
Of course there are other tracks in the Dramatic_Moods and Specialty
categories but these should be enough to get you off to a good
start.
New Music
AA174 Country/Variety is the latest
addition to Audio Architecture. This disc features styles from
a wide range of country music. Everything from old-fashioned
honky tonk that would fit right in at any Gilley's-Wanna-Be-Roadside-Bar
to contemporary Nashville styles. The only things missing are
long-neck bottles of beer, cowboy hats and sawdust!

AA173 - Pop/Tween Power

What the heck is a "tween"?
In case you don't know already, tweens are those older kids that
are not quite teens yet. Why name a disc of pop music after them?
If you've got kids you know it's a very popular genre of music.
Just turn on Disney or Nick. I read an article the other day
that said tweens influence about a bazillion dollars in purchases
every year. That means an advertiser might want music with that
vibe. And
since we make music for just that purpose, the
Tween Power disc was born! Youthful, positive pop music. Great
for a variety of ad copy or show themes.

What would the summer be without
the premiere of an epic, big-budget sequel. The cleverly titled
"Heroes II" is the follow up to the hugely successful
soundtrack, AA145 - The Heroes. The theme titles describe the
story line:
- The New Kingdom
- Perilous Times
- Enemy Attack
- Warriors Lost
- March To War
- Bloody Battle
- Victorious Heroes
The good guys win in the end of course! The kingdom is safe and
all is right with the world, for now...

We're pleased to announce
the Audio Architecture "All Request Disc" prize winner
is...
Mitch Campbell from 95.7 FM "The Ride", Charlotte,
NC. Mitch won a copy of Adobe Audition! Thanks for your suggestions
for the library and enjoy your new production software.
We also drew 7 entries to use as the concepts for compositions
on the All Request Disc. Here's the line up that's featured on
the disc:
Another Hero - Majestic, triumphant orchestral theme.
Another hero returns home from battle. Concept submitted by Ryan
Wiggins - Joy FM, St. Louis, MO.
Smooth Rocker - All rock
in the 70's was not hard. Bands like, oh... well, you know who...
had some pretty smooth tunes. Concept submitted by Bill DaButler
- WNSX - 97.7, Ellsworth, ME.
Sports Show Open - This
track is produced as an opening for a sports broadcast. It starts
with a dramatic low synth pad and builds to a full rock band.
Concept submitted by Rick Campbell - WEKX, Williamsburg, KY.
1950's Modern - Imagine it's 1954 and you're listening
to a commercial for GE's first "automatic" dishwasher.
Concept submitted by Chuck Homler - Nassau Broadcasting, Portland,
ME.
Health Recovery - Is back pain keeping you on the sidelines
of life? Miracle Back Clinic can put you on the road to recovery...
Concept submitted by Dave Taylor - Forever Broadcasting, PA.
Gospel Revival - Traditional, upbeat, gospel praise band
with a great "live" ambiance. Concept submitted by
Tony Gee - WFMV FM, Columbia, SC.
iLive Now Trailer - This
is a dramatic movie trailer soundtrack that builds in intensity.
Concept submitted by Josh Richmond - CIXL 91.7 Giant FM, Welland,
ON.
Thanks again to everyone who submitted ideas for the contest!
Even if your concept was not drawn to go on the All Request Disc,
all ideas and suggestions will be used to shape upcoming additions
to the library.
