VidDisc MPEG-2 delivery:

MPEG-2 files are 4.5Mbps VBR, 720x480 frame size (full frame), 48khz - 192kbps MPEG audio. Typical MPEG2 file size is
140 - 160 Megabytes.

Benefits of MPEG-2
Full-frame, de-interlaced, video for dramatically improved picture quality across a wide range of video playback systems including LCD, plasma, projection, and CRT video monitors.

  • DVD quality MPEG-2 video offers more than twice the image resolution of our MPEG-1 files.
  • MPEG-2 video offers widespread playback compatibility across multiple computer operating systems (PC, Mac) with an easily obtained MPEG decoder. Your system may already support MPEG-2 today.
